Transport

St Helens boasts it’s own air strip and is a favourite stop for light air craft. If you prefer the water lapping on a hull, Georges Bay is a safe haven from the open seas, however caution is advised when crossing St Helens Barway and those unfamiliar with the channel are advised to seek assistance. However, if you are of the majority, you will be arriving by car or bus. All major roads to St Helens area are sealed with a maximum speed of 100 km/h. Coaches service the area daily and hire cars are available locally.
